Roundcube is an excellent free open source webmail solution with a desktop-like user interface which is easy to install\/configure and that runs on a standard LAMPP server.<\/p>\n

This manual is designed to assist you in the step-by-step process to set up an \u201cout of office\u201d auto-reply on the Roundcube mail server.<\/p>\n

LOGIN<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Log into your Roundcube mail provider. When you are successfully logged in, go to settings.<\/p>\n

SETTINGS<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

When you are successfully logged in, click the setting button on the top right-hand corner of the menu, it looks like this;<\/p>\n

FILTERS<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

When in the settings menu, select \u201cfilters\u201d and choose \u201cvacation\u201d.<\/p>\n

If \u201cvacation\u201d is not there select the plus\u00a0button on the bottom of the filter panel to create a new one. on this screen fill in the details.<\/p>\n

Filter name: This can be anything \u201cout of office\u201d or \u201cvacation\u201d would suit best.<\/p>\n

  1. <\/b> For incoming mail: select \u201cAll messages\u201d<\/li>\n
  2. <\/b> Dropdown menu: in the dropdown menu select \u201cReply with message\u201d<\/li>\n
  3. <\/b> Message body: please type the message you want to send send on the out of office reply.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
