Rayal realised that if they were to grow their business further, they needed to replace these manual processes with automated ones.<\/p>\n<h4>Isolated Data Stores<\/h4>\n<p>Rayal was managing a lot of information in spreadsheet form\u00a0and multiple data sources were leading to \u2018islands of information\u2019, meaning multiple searches every time they needed specific information about a product, client or supplier.<\/p>\n<h4>Reliance on Powerful but Unconnected LED Savings Calculators<\/h4>\n<p>Rayal realised that while their powerful spreadsheets\u00a0were giving them all the possible\u00a0results and calculations they needed, they were prone to failure\u00a0\u2013\u00a0just one incorrect data entry by any one user could cause\u00a0a complete shutdown of the process. In addition, there were multiple versions of these spreadsheets on their network.<\/p>\n<article>When we first set out on this task, I did not think there was a system out there that was able to survey, do accounts, perform customer management and track and trace stock. An essential part of any implementation like this is change management,\u00a0as it is easy to replace systems but very difficult to change people.<\/p>\n<h4>LED Savings Calculator with Lead Management<\/h4>\n<p>Target Integration took Rayal\u2019s requirements for a savings calculator\u00a0and presented a design which was clean and modern looking, as well as being compatible with\u00a0tablets\u00a0and mobile devices.
