How Does the Service Work?

Magnet provides uncontended broadband which is capable of supporting real time traffic such as voice. Magnet convert the voice traffic on the customer’s site to “Voice over Internet Protocol” (VoIP) and then prioritise this traffic over the broadband link; we also size the broadband link to make sure your normal Internet traffic isn’t impacted. The VoIP data is then converted back to normal voice on our core voice switches and depending on the destination is passed to the relevant service provider to connect the call.
