We are happy to announce that CiviSync CMS Component has now been released on Target Integration site. It has been provided to Joomla and Drupal site admins for approval.

Let us know if there is anything we could help you with in order to setup CiviSync CMS.

While I'm very excited about the prospect of being able to sync my CiviCRM contacts with Outlook, I'm a little confused by this release.

How is the API key setup and used?

Am I right in thinking that this code is used for the forthcoming Outlook Addin?

Thanks

Speleo,

You are very much right that it is for the forthcoming Outlook Addin. But if there are other applications that you have created and they use the REST api to talk to CiviCRM; then you can use this component to manage the API Keys and Site Key.

Hows it going with the CiviSync? Was pretty excited about the whole concept and am looking forward to it hitting the streets.

Two questions?

will it work with Joomla 1.6 / civiCRM 4.0?
and whats about Outlook 2010?

Thanks, Henry
